My name is Becky Blom Dawson. I've worked for HPS since 2000. I started as a 4th grade teacher and then switched positions and become a school counselor. I've been in that role since 2008. I currently serve students with last names beginning with A-E. I am located at the Main Campus Guidance Office.

I've lived in or worked in Hudsonville most of my life. I graduated from Hudsonville in 1995. Earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Hope College in 1999 and then pursued a Master's in School Counseling from WMU. I'm married Tom Dawson in 2005 and we have two boys, Will and Henry. They both attend Forest Grove and keep us very busy.

My hope is that you see me as a resource for your son(s) and/or daughter(s) while they navigate their four years in high school. I can assist with a wide range of needs and questions, from schedules to college planning to social/emotional needs.
