Hello! I'm Mrs. Landry Flynn, and I have the immense pleasure of teaching 7th and 8th grade students in a variety of exciting subjects, including Computer Science, Digital Media, and Coding/Introduction to Programming. My journey in education has led me to room C256, a space where creativity and technology blend to inspire future innovators.
A proud alumna of Highland Park High School and a dedicated LSU Tiger, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science, bringing a strong foundation in both academics and enthusiasm into our classroom. My certifications span across Core Classes (ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science), Technology Applications, Reading Specialist, Mental Health, Dyslexia, and ESL, ensuring a rich, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for every student.
But who is Mrs. Flynn beyond the classroom? A self-proclaimed nerd with a deep love for the expansive universes of Dune and Ready Player One, I bring the same passion for exploration and discovery to our lessons. When I'm not guiding our next generation of coders and creators, you might find me indulging in a variety of solitaire games, tackling challenging puzzles, or spending quality time with my beloved dog, Puckleberry, and my husband, Michael.
My philosophy is simple: learning should ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and empower students to explore. With a commitment to excellence and a heart full of enthusiasm, I'm here to support your children on their educational journey, encouraging them to dream big, think critically, and achieve their full potential.
Join us in C256, where education meets innovation, and let's build a brighter future together!
