Violet Avenue School is a great place to work and learn!  I have been working at VAS for over 25 years, but this is my 6th year as the ENL (English as a New Language) teacher.  As the ENL teacher, I work in several classrooms throughout the building helping our English Language Learners.  The classroom teachers and I co-teach many reading/writing lessons together for the whole class and then I support the students individually as well.  I am looking forward to working with all of you!

¡La escuela Violet Avenue School es un lugar estupendo para trabajar y para aprender!  He trabajado en la escuela VAS por más de 25 años, pero este año es mi 6th  como maestra de inglés como nuevo idioma (ENL, por sus siglas en inglés: English as a New Language).  Como maestra del ENL, trabajo en varios salones de clase por todo el edificio, ayudándoles a nuestros estudiantes que aprenden el idioma inglés (English Language Learners).  Con los maestros y maestras de salón, enseñamos juntos muchas lecciones de lectura y escritura para la clase entera, y luego también les doy apoyo individual a los estudiantes. ¡Me dará mucho gusto trabajar con todos ustedes!
