Hi all- my name is Mr. Bettina, and this will be my eighth year as an English teacher. I graduated from SUNY Geneseo in May of 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, and a certification to teach Adolescent English, grades 7-12. After graduating, I moved to the city of Albany where I taught 9th grade English at Albany Leadership Charter High School for Girls. Upon finishing my first year at ALH, I decided to move back to the Dutchess County and started working as an 8th grade English teacher at Poughkeepsie Middle School in Poughkeepsie, New York. I then received a position at Haviland Middle School, and I have been working at the home of the Hawks since the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year. Recently, I completed my Master's Degree in Literacy Education, Grades 5-12, at SUNY Oneonta.
