About Me
About Me
This is my 26th year as a Senior English teacher at FDR High School. Twelfth grade is honestly my favorite level to teach because I have realized that helping to guide each senior and their family closer toward their future path after high school is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. The growth I see in my twelfth-grade students after I assist them with writing college-admissions-style or scholarship essays, developing research skills, or improving critical thinking abilities is remarkable.
Outside of school, I coach Varsity soccer, and Modified baseball in Germantown. My favorite pursuits are cooking and baking, traveling around the world with my family, building drama sets for FDR and the Center for Performing Arts in Rhinebeck, working on home renovation products, and rooting for Boston sports teams (most specifically the Red Sox, Celtics, and the Patriots).
I look forward to teaching and learning with you all this year!
