Congratulations! Your child has reached the age where they may study a band or orchestra instrument in school! Each child may study one instrument.

Please listen to the different instruments and choose the three your child is most interested in. Sign-up using the Google Form. Instruments are assigned based on interest, demand, and ensemble balance. Your child's teacher will contact you regarding instrument selection and rental/purchasing information before the end of the school year.

Students learn many skills from participating in an instrumental ensemble including teamwork, dedication, commitment, self-discipline, and collaboration.
The NAMM Foundation seeks school districts and schools with an exemplary commitment to music education to be recognized as part of the Foundation's Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) program. Now in its 22nd year, the Best Communities for Music Education offers national recognition and visibility for school music programs, and honors the efforts of educators, administrators, students and community music education champions who share in the common goal to ensure access to music for all students as part of the curriculum.
