Google Apps in Education

The Hyde Park Central School District is excited to offer staff and students the ability to use Google Apps in Education for enhancing instruction and planning in and out of the classroom. Hyde Park CSD has reserved the hpcsd.org domain specifically to provide staff and students access to web-based secure resources. There is no software to install on your computer and the service is provided free to educational institutions.

Google Apps in Education is comprised of the following resources:

1. Google Docs - create and share documents, spreadsheets and presentations on the internet
2. Google Calendar - create and share multiple calendars
3. Google Sites - create and share web sites
4. Google Mail - Enjoy the benefits of having an hpcsd.org school email address
5. Google Maps - Locate places all around the world
6. Blogger - Create and share web logs with the world
7. Google Groups - Create groups to allow communication and a centralized online posting spac
