Grading Policy explained

• On-time Work: When an assignment is completed by the due date- refer to the information in blue below for grading.  

1.  When the assignment is very detailed and well done this assignment will receive a grade of 100%

2. The assignment is fully complete (no blanks) but is not detailed and/or has just the minimum done. This assignment will receive a grade of 85%.  

3. If the assignment is missing a few answers or has a few minor answers incorrect,  this assignment will receive a grade of 75%.  

4. If it is halfway complete, it will be returned to be completed.  

• Late work: When an assignment is completed by 7 days or less after the due date, refer to the information listed below in red.

1. The assignment is completed and with detailed answers, you will receive a grade of  85%.

2. The assignment is completed and but is not detailed with the minimum needed to answer the question, you will receive a grade of 75%.

3. If the assignment is missing a few answers or has a few minor answers incorrect, This assignment will receive a grade of 60%.  

•   Any assignment completed past or more than 7 days of the deadline can only receive a grade of 50% if it is complete. Nothing less than that will be accepted.

**Students who have extended time on assignments and/or extenuating circumstances will need to discuss deadlines ahead of time with Mr. Curcio and/or Mrs. Jarvis**
