Mrs. Choinski's bio....
- This is my 33rd year of teaching. I graduted from DCC, SUNY Plattsburgh, and SUNY New Paltz.
- Family ~ my husband Mark & my son Mitchell, I have one sister, her name is Bobbie. She is mentally retarded and lives in a group home in Kingston. She is obsessed with Dunkin Donuts iced coffee!! My sister inspired me to become a Special Education teacher. My parents are retired and live in Las Vegas and my husband's family is originally from Poland. His Mom taught me how to make homemade pierogis and I know how to say a few things in Polish!
- Mitchell graduated from SUNY Oneonta. He went to Hyde Park schools and graduated from FDR in 2017. Mitchell played school sports (basketball, football, & baseball) and CYO basketball. When he was a senior, his baseball team was the first to ever win a MHAL Championship - Mr. Van Zandt was very excited!! He also played travel baseball so we spent lots of summers going all over the East Coast for his games. I don't know how anyone can play baseball in Florida - it is so hot & humid!
- I love watching sports and going to games; baseball, football, basketball, hockey, golf...
- Hobbies include cooking, baking, riding my bicycle, traveling (especially to the beach), going to the movies, spending time with my friends, reading, & singing in the car really loud!
- Favorite foods include coffee, chocolate, and anything pumpkin!!
