Dear Haviland Middle School Band Students and Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I'm so excited to start this school year with all of my awesome HMS students! I can't wait to start making beautiful music with the newest 6th grade band members and continue making music with the 7th grade band students!

This year is going to be an exciting year filled with new friends, lots of music-making, and unforgettable memories. If this pandemic has taught us anything, it is that the world needs the arts. We, as human beings, need music to bring us together and express ourselves when words cannot.
