I asked 6 people about my idea for the capstone project which is creating an Instagram account and showing my daily outfits and giving styling tips. Everyone liked the idea and had various opinions about what they want to see in the account. Most people said to tag the store account when I'm posting photos and introduce different stores so they can shop easily. Also, they wanted to see not only clothes but jewelry, shoes, and bags in the account too. Adding to that, they wanted to engage in the account too and wanted to see HPA students in the account as well. Jasmin gave me a great idea that relating this to business, I should be a stylist and help out people finding their own style and also get paid to choose their outfits based on what they have in the closet. Lastly, they wanted to see different styles based on the theme or locations.
I've learned that it is important to figure out Value Propositions first in order to make a successful business. Service features, Pain Killers, and gain creators are the main three themes. I've also got to brainstorm more possible solutions by asking more people what they want to see in the Instagram account to help people out. Mostly said they want to know how to find their own style, where to buy their clothes and give lots of inspiration for outfits so they have a broad view.

My product does/provides styling tips, daily outfits, information about fashion and solves people's concerns on what to wear on certain occasions or what to wear when they feel like nothing to wear and improves their fashion sense, style and look good every day without trying a lot.
We had a whole calendar that has until next year April. It helped me to think about my monthly plan to reach my final goals for this project and made me motivated since I have specific goals.
Do you intend to sell anything or make money from your product/services? How would you feel if you could not sell your product? Would you continue with your current project if you were doing it as a service project vs. trying to make a profit from it? What would the impact be to your current/future customers and key stakeholders if you were to change your project?
Yes, I intend to be a personal stylist for people who want to elevate their personal fashion style. I wouldn't feel happy since I am on a business capstone and was planning to learn how to make money from owning a business. I would probably still be working on the project as a service project because it is giving tips, ideas to my followers that will eventually satisfy them. However, it won't be 100% accurate with what the customers/followers want, so I would want to find a way to be a personal stylist and make a profit from it. My current/future customers won't be able to communicate with me 101 and get help directly and personally.
My product shares my daily outfits and gives styling tips and inspirations to followers. Also, I am doing a personal styling session with clients within people in HPA. You can see it by searching up @project.soobin on either Instagram or Tik Tok. My future works are to post more consistently and do several more personal styling sessions. I could use how many followers, views, posts I've gained since I started and compare to see the metrics and quantify my product. I chose a really good product since I want to pursue this after I graduate and do what I am passionate about. However, it is hard to stay consistent since I only have time after school when I am so exhausted from a long day and have to change my outfits quickly for sports. If I am only focusing on this daily, I feel like I could have had a better quality product with more in-depth styling. Also, sometimes this feels like schoolwork, and suddenly I don't enjoy doing it. If I started capstone again, I would probably find a way to take my photos without others' help, plan out my posts in advance, and care about my mental health. Also, posting more like a blog style on Instagram rather than only posting the photo with short captions would have had a different outcome. I would still do this product since I enjoy doing it. I had learned how to edit videos and started to enjoy doing it because before, I wasn't good at editing and didn't like it. I also feel like I learned more about fashion styling, especially for a capsule wardrobe, since I learned how to style without overbuying clothes in so many different ways. I will keep doing this product, so by posting more, my editing skills will improve, and by totally being confident with my fashion style, I will be able to help others better. My favorite thing about my project is doing this after I graduate and doing something that I want to do that relates to my dream career. My product legacy is for myself, being able to keep posted in the future, and for others in our school who might do something like their own fashion blog or do personal styling sessions with getting paid.
