Who are you?

Hi! My name is Sakura Nagai and I'm from Osaka, Japan. I came to HPA in my Junior year. Before coming to HPA, I studied abroad in Malaysia for two years. I'm passionate about traveling, taking photography. and playing the guitar. Since I started playing guitar two years ago, it has become a very important and favorite thing for me. Singing has been a passion of mine since I was very young, and I grew up being influenced by foreign singers and Japanese artists. I also look forward to working with people who have different ideas and styles of music. Why make an album?

I'm passionate about starting to make albums, and here are some reasons why. I believe that music can give us "hope" by listening, playing, and being exposed to music. I want to be a creative and engaging artist who helps people explore music more. Also, by learning and taking Mr. Flores's classes. I can collaborate with students who love music and have a different perspective. Also because I want to create a more mindful album with feedback and some guidelines. I'm very happy to be in the music Capstone because One of my dreams is to delve deeper into music and create original compositions.
