Project Description
Fresh Fills was a 6-month initiative dedicated to combating hygiene poverty on the Big Island by providing hygiene kits to 64 families in Waimea and Kona, Hawaii. Beyond distributing essential products to address the adverse health effects of hygiene poverty, my goal was to help restore dignity and self-confidence to the recipients, ensuring they felt valued and supported. The project successfully raised over $5,800 in generous donations from the community, family & friends, and local businesses, making a significant impact in the community. I was honored to partner with the local nonprofit Kona Kids and deeply grateful for the unwavering support of my community, which made this initiative possible.
