Hard Use Knives / Cutting tools 

This page is for knives that would see extreme hard use / abuse. Knives shown on this page are made from 4140 for its toughness. 4140 is often said to be a poor choice for knife steel but we find that for some very specific users and tasks it makes a serviceable tool. You will be able to get a good sharp edge on the steel, but these builds are for people who understand that they are sacrificing edge retention for extreme durability. Read more about 4140.
