Materials

• 1” Binder

• Loose leaf paper

• 3 x 5 index cards

• Black or Blue pen or pencil

• Colored pen 

• Chromebook

• Crayons, colored pencils or markers (your choice)

(These supplies may need to be replenished as the year progresses.)

Grades/Points

• Students will have the opportunity to earn points on a near-daily basis

• Late work will be accepted up to two days after the due date, but will receive a 50% deduction.

• Please discuss any anticipated issues with an assignment with me before the due date

• Be sure to complete all assignments and come to class prepared each day.

• Vocabulary

• Writing

• Literature, novels, real world reading

Electronics Policy

• Cell phones are not permitted to be used during the school day. They must remain on silent and out of sight at all times, including during lunch and study halls.

• Smartwatches should be placed on Airplane mode for the entire school day.

• Earbuds or headphones are not allowed during class unless specifically permitted by the teacher. All earbuds must be wired—wireless earbuds are not allowed.
