Starting this school year, we will be focusing on the basics of game design, graphic design and illustration, photography and multimedia. You will have the opportunity to focus on specific areas of your course and learn the tools and techniques to successfully complete your projects
Photography/Digital Design
(1/2 Credit Course each)
Students who take photography will have the opportunity to work through all the concepts and techniques of image taking, image editing and lighting every day while in this class. Students work to build their own portfolio in all areas of thematic photo shoots.
Digital Design allows the students to get creative using graphic software to develop digital art projects, illustrations, create projects for contests and use the software to develop art concepts for their photography images as they produce a portfolio throughout the year.
Game Design/Illustration
(1/2 Credit Course each)
Our game design class uses Game Maker Studio and Illustration to assist you in learning code language, sound design, graphic illustration and layout to create a multi-room game design with moving cameras, enemies and an end boss.
Students in Illustration will learn the areas of Photoshop and Illustrator while working on projects in and out of class. This is a project based class and students will be given instruction while working on content they are interested in focusing on.
