Algebra II

This course is designed to build on algebraic and geometric concepts taught in previous courses. Fundamental skills of mathematics will be applied to such topics as functions, equations and inequalities, probability and statistics, logarithmic and exponential relationships, quadratic and polynomial equations, and systems of equations. Complex numbers and trig functions are also introduced. Technology will be used to expand on linear, quadratic, polynomial, radical, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions and their graphs. The content of this course is important for students’ success on both the ACT and college mathematics entrance exams.
