You will not only be able to access the vast knowledge base of the internet, but we have a number of specific tools that we can utilize for the classroom. Expectations
With a 50 minute class period our time together each day is limited. It is important that we use the time together as efficiently as possible. Students are expected to be on task, be respectful of the teacher and fellow students, complete work to the best of their ability, and abide by the rules of HWMS.
There will not be homework every night, but there will be assignments that are given in advance to be completed over a series of days. The assignments will be expected to be turned in on time.
Textbook. The textbook
Assessments will be completed and graded on Schoology. If a student scores below 70% on an assessment they may do test corrections using a Test Corrections Form obtained from Mr. Hill. Students can recover credit up to 70% on the assessment. Test corrections will be available for one week following an assessment and the form for completing them can be found by the schedule board in Mr. Hill's room.
