Policy and Procedure
Students in Grades BK-1 will be allowed to check out 1 book.
Library Bags will be provided for students to take their books to and from school.
Students in grades 2-5 will be allowed to check out 2 books.
If students are working on a project they will be allowed to check additional books to keep supporting their project.
When renewing a book students must have the book to renew it.
No running/walking feet
No rolling on the chairs with wheels
Voice level is 0 or 1
Cozy Corner voice level is always “0”.
Always use a shelf marker
Use the circulation computers to look up books only, no searching the web
Remember everything you type in we can see
Use the “call slips” to write down the books you would like to check out
Turn the page by using the top right corner of the page.
Always have clean hands and no eating/drinking while using our library books.
Please keep our library books in a safe place.
BK, K, 1st grade please use your library bags to keep our books safe.
What do I do if I forget my library book?
If you forget your library book, don’t worry, you can borrow from the “Book Bus”
Lost or Damaged Books
If a student damages/loses a book a replacement will need to be purchased. Parent’s will receive an email with the replacement information. Please select the "hard copy" option for the replacement book. The replacement book may be shipped directly to school:

If the book is not replaced then a fine will be placed on your student’s library account. Until the book is replaced student's may borrow a book from the "Borrow House". If the book is still overdue after the inventory in the library is complete, an email will be sent with the replacement information. If the book is never replaced the fine will stay on the student's library account as they advance throughout the district.
