About me: I grew up in Grand Rapids, MI and went to Caledonia High School. I moved to Howell in 2010 with my wife Lauren. We now have two daughters Charlotte (5) and Cecelia (2). I am the Boy's Varsity Basketball coach and am going on my 9th year in that position. I LOVE TEACHING!!!! It is my passion and I wake up every morning thrilled to be able to do what I love everyday. Outside of school I love to watch football, baseball and basketball of all levels. Hunting and fishing fits in any spare moment I have. My goal is to create a fantastic relationship with every student that I have and make them feel comfortable being themselves in my classroom. I am also big on teaching students about life and have a motto of Embrace the Struggle (ETS). This means to take adversity head on and realize that challenges make you stronger. I hope to be a Highlander for the rest of my career. GO HOWELL!!!
