This year, in honor of the Expo's 5th year, we are offering a new challenge as an option. Our Invention Expo will challenge you to invent, create and/or solve a problem and present your ideas to a panel of experts just like the hit tv show Shark Tank.

Are you an inventor? Do you have the ability or want to change the world for good? If so, Howell Township "sharks" challenge you to invent something new, modify an existing product, or identify a situation or problem that needs resolution. The design or solution will be presented to a panel of Howell Township "sharks" on the night of the expo. Read below for the criteria and good luck to all of our inventors!

Invention Expo Criteria

Invention Expo submissions must follow the format below:

• Submit an online proposal using the google form- please submit all members if working in a group
• Inventions must be a new creation, modification of an existing product or technology or a solution to a problem faced in the community or the world
• Students must bring a presentation to the expo, including if possible, a prototype
• Students will be assigned a time to present to the sharks, all other times students will be assigned an area on the general expo floor to share their projects
• Presentations should be between 5-10 minutes and can be aided by technology- powerpoints, videos, movies, infomercials, etc.
• Students should be prepared to answer questions about their projects
