You will need to know your HCC Login ID to create your password. You should have received a welcome email containing your HCC student ID number and your Login ID. If you need help finding your login ID, click the link below. You will need to enter your first name, last name and personal email address. If they are the same as the information in HCC's files, you will get an email with your login ID.

Creating your Password
1. Go to www.howardcc.edu. Click on Tools & Resources.
2. Now click on HCC Login ID & Password.
3. Click on Need to create your HCC Login ID password for the first time?
4. Click on https://login.howardcc.edu/claim/initial
5. Click on Next
6. Enter your HCC Login ID (1). A message was sent to your personal email address with an authorization code. The code has 6 numbers. Enter your code (2). Click SUBMIT (3).
9. Create a new password. There are a lot of rules to follow. Write your password in a safe place, like your notebook.
10. Type the password in both spaces. All of the checkmarks will turn green.
11. Congratulations! You are done. Write your password in a safe place.
12. Do not start again!
