You will need to know your HCC Login ID to create your password. You should have received a welcome email containing your HCC student ID number and your Login ID. If you need help finding your login ID, click the link below. You will need to enter your first name, last name and personal email address. If they are the same as the information in HCC's files, you will get an email with your login ID.

2. Now click on HCC Login ID & Password.
3. Click on Reset your password using the PIN reset feature (recommended).
4. Click on https://login.howardcc.edu/identity/self-service/hcc/smsreset.jsf
5. Click on enter your HCC Login ID
6. Enter your student ID (1). Check the box (2). Click SUBMIT (3).
7. Check that the cellphone and email addresses are correct.
8. Enter the PIN (number) that was sent to your cellphone or email, then click Validate.
9. Create a new password. There are a lot of rules to follow. Write your password in a safe place, like your notebook.
10. Type the password in both spaces. All of the checkmarks will turn green.
11. Congratulations! You are done. You do not need to create security questions.
12. Do not start again!
