Students who accumulate tardies throughout the semester will be subject to progressive disciplinary action. The progressive discipline will be based on 4 tardies. Once the 4th, 8th, and 12th tardies are reached, the student will be subject to disciplinary action. This includes the first period but excludes excused tardies, such as students being late with a doctor's note.
Consequences for tardies: 4th=lunch detention, 8th= three days of lunch detention (referral generated), 12th= week of lunch detention (referral generated) Note: repeat offenders may be subject to a one-day out-of-school suspension for repetitive insubordination.

If there is an emergency and you need to pass along a message to your child, please call the front office, and the message will be delivered as soon as possible for ongoing instruction.
The $15 retrieval fee is HISD policy and must be paid through SchoolPay, available on the T.H. Rogers website or by clicking this link: HERE Please make sure to print out the receipt as that will be exchanged for the phone in the West Office.
Please see the signed paperwork and courses regarding HISD-issued devices and proper technology usage. All students are expected to bring devices from class, home, and school daily. Students will not be able to charge laptops at school. They can hold charge throughout the school day but MUST be charged nightly. Please develop a schedule/reminder to charge and pack devices daily.
