The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. These five pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1929.

This organization is open to 7th and 8th grade students who maintain a grade average of a 90 or above in core classes, an E average in conduct, and have evidence of participation in community service projects outside of Pin Oak.  

Applications will be accepted for review by a committee of teachers in October 2023 for both 7th and 8th graders.
Late applications will not be accepted.
