Meet the Teacher - Mr. Mann
I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and moved to Texas (DFW) with my family in 2008. We then moved to Houston in 2017.
I graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in 1996, but didn't begin my teaching career until 2003. My first job in education was at Wolf Creek Elementary School in Broken Arrow, OK. I taught 4th grade.
This will be my 6th year at Lanier where I've taught 8th grade Tech Apps and P.I.T.
I've been married to my awesome wife, Amy, for 26 years. We have two amazing children, Elizabeth (UAB Blazers) and Braden (Lanier class of 2021, Shadow Creek HS 25). Along with our kids we also have 2 dogs, Piper and Carly.
My hobbies are gardening, exercising, and watching sports. My favorite teams are Arsenal FC, and the OSU Cowboys.
I coach volleyball and soccer at Lanier. Check the links below for updates on each.
