Lamar tennis is a year-round sport. Team tennis is played during the fall season and individual tennis is played in the spring. Tryout information will be posted after the spring season concludes.

IMPORTANT TRYOUT INFORMATION:

• Before you can tryout, you MUST have the following steps completed:

  • Make an account on https://www.registermyathlete.com/

  • Select team tennis AND boys/ girls tennis as your sport (if you already have an account, just make sure those sports are selected)

  • Upload the following documents after completing the registration process:

    1. A current physical, signed by both the physician, student, and parent

    2. EITHER a receipt of your HISD athletic insurance (purchased on school pay for $35) OR a photo of your insurance AND a notarized athletic insurance waiver

If you come to tryouts without having the above steps completed, you will NOT be able to tryout.
