About the Library Staff

Ms. Carpenter is the new Bellaire HS Librarian. The new library construction is on schedule to open between Thanksgiving and the new year if everything stays on track.

Ms. Carpenter has been in education since 2014 and been a librarian since 2019. She has worked in 4 different districts and 3 different states. She is so excited to bring library services back to Bellaire and help support all students, staff, and the Bellaire Community.

Mrs. Moreira started working in HISD in the year 2000. In 2005, she accepted the position as a library assistant.

Mrs. Moreira is the proud parent of four boys, all Bellaire High School graduates. Mrs. Moreira has two daughter-in laws and three beautiful grandchildren.

Every year, Mrs. Moreira enjoys helping teachers with their projects. She also loves making connections with every student, faculty and staff that comes to the library and tries to make them feel special.
