ACT Enhancements

ACT Enhancements are coming. The link above is a flyer with a summary of the changes. For students who already have an ACT score, you score will not change with these enhancements. And although Science is going to be optional with these changes, some colleges and degrees may require a STEM test score.

ACT Information

ACT registration

Houston is listed as a testing site every time a test is offered however, if there is not enough students registered for that test date, our site could be closed due to low enrollment.

If you qualify for free/reduced lunch, then you can get a fee waiver to take the ACT. Contact Mrs. Shelton in the HS office to see if you qualify.

After taking the ACT, you can visit this link to help you understand your scores.

ACT Benchmarks

ACT Benchmarks can be used to determine a student's reasonable change of success in first-year credit-bearing college courses. 50% of student that meet the benchmarks on average earn a B or better in selected classes.
