House Of Bengals AZ:
A Passionate, Ethical Bengal Cat Cattery
At House Of Bengals AZ, Bengal cats aren’t just bred—they’re cherished members of our family. Located in Arizona, our small, hands-on cattery is driven by a deep love for the Bengal breed and a strong commitment to ethical, responsible breeding practices.
We are proud to be a TICA (The International Cat Association) and CFA (Cat Fanciers’ Association) registered cattery, adhering to the highest standards in feline care and breeding.
Health and Ethics First
All of our cattery cats are extensively health tested and free of common hereditary diseases. We go above and beyond to ensure our Bengals are in peak health—each cat is PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) and PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) clear, and HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) tested yearly by a board-certified cardiologist. In addition, our Bengals are FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), and Heartworm negative.
Raised with Love and Socialization
What truly makes House Of Bengals AZ unique is how our kittens are raised. With three small children in the home, our Bengal kittens are handled, played with, and loved on daily from birth. This high level of early socialization helps ensure confident, affectionate, and well-adjusted companions who thrive in family environments.
At House Of Bengals AZ, breeding Bengals is more than a passion—it’s a purpose. We combine ethical breeding, cutting-edge health testing, and genuine love to raise Bengal kittens that are not only stunning, but strong, social, and healthy for life.
If you’re looking for a Bengal kitten raised with heart, integrity, and expert care—welcome to House Of Bengals AZ.
The Personality of a Bengal Cat
Bengal cats are a captivating blend of wild beauty and domestic charm. Descended from the Asian leopard cat, they possess a striking coat marked with rosettes, marbling, or spots—but it’s their personality that truly sets them apart.
Energetic and Playful
Bengals are full of energy. They love to run, jump, and explore every corner of their environment. Their athleticism is impressive—they can leap to high shelves and climb with ease. Without regular stimulation, they may get into mischief just to entertain themselves.
Intelligent and Curious
These cats are highly intelligent, often compared to dogs in their ability to learn tricks or even play fetch. Their curiosity is boundless—they’ll open cabinets, turn on faucets, and investigate everything in sight. Puzzle toys and interactive games are ideal for keeping their minds busy.
Affectionate but Independent
While Bengals are affectionate, they’re not always lap cats. They bond closely with their humans and often follow them around, wanting to be part of the action. However, they appreciate a bit of independence and may not always want constant cuddling.
Vocal and Communicative
Bengals are known for being quite vocal. They have a wide range of sounds and aren’t shy about letting you know what they want. Whether it’s food, attention, or just a chat, they’ll make their voices heard.
Water-Loving and Adventurous
Unlike many cats, Bengals often enjoy water. You might find yours dipping a paw into the sink or hopping into the shower. They’re also more adventurous than most, making them good candidates for leash training or outdoor exploration (with supervision).
Overall, a Bengal cat is a bold, intelligent, and loving companion—best suited for someone who can match its energy and curiosity. They’re not your average lap cat—they’re a high-octane feline with personality to spare.
