Project underway to light bridge in CharlevoixCHARLEVOIX COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- Charlevoix is known for its natural beauty and the lights it has during the Venetian festival. But its Memorial Bridge is always dark at night. Now, some community members are hoping to change that. The idea to light the Charlevoix Memorial Bridge came from a Charlevoix resident named Paul Belding who passed away from cancer last fall. He was a lighting engineer and fisherman that wanted the bridge to be lit up at night.
