Hello Brothers!

I'm Chas Horvath.  I was initiated with the pledge class of 1978 and graduated from Cornell with a Masters of Engineering degree in 1981.  My wife Mary and I are hosting our second annual Boston area Beta Theta alumni gathering at 7:00pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025.  A buffet dinner along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beer, wine, and soft drinks will be provided.  This is a chance to re-engage with old friends and meet new ones.  You are encouraged to bring your wife or partner.

Email and postal invitations are going to the New England area alumni for whom Alpha Theta has contact information and one email invite is also going to other brothers I am in frequent or infrequent contact with regardless of location.  You can see the RSVP status of those who responded on the RSVPs Page.  New Englanders who wish to stop receiving email and postal mail about the party should decline the RSVP.  Feel free to pass this invitation onto others.

This is not a fundraising event, though we will update people on the active chapter.  Spoiler alert: the house is doing great; Pike is the second largest fraternity at Cornell, significant house repairs were recently completed, and a capital campaign for major renovations/improvements is well under way.  More details at the event!
