Quarter 1 (Recording): This covers the "Research" or "Investigation" standards. It proves the student can "see" and record data (light, form, space) accurately before interpreting it.
Quarter 2 (Conventions): This directly addresses standards regarding "Artist Models" or "Established Practice." It provides the evidence that the student isn't just making things up, but is engaging with Art History.
Quarter 3 (Development): This covers "Media Control" and "Idea Generation." It moves the student from copying to creating, showing they can manipulate materials to suit their purpose.
Quarter 4 (Synthesis): This is the "Portfolio magazine" phase. It assesses the ability to pull all previous learning into a final, polished body of work.
