Polyglot Intro

Polyglot is one of the bilingual students who come from a different background with limited English. After the switch to remote learning, Polyglot doesn't like school anymore! Our job is to help him feel welcome and safe in our classroom. Even though, teacher and students tried their best to be friendly with him, Polyglot felt shy and did not want to stay at school because he didn't know how to communicate with his classmates! After a long try and a hard work, Polyglot was able to navigate and be engaged in class discussions and participate in all class activities.

I created the following interactive scratch games activities which are about Polyglot's experience with remote learning. In these Scratch activities, I used a Polyglot avatar that I created using scratch as an Elementary English Learner Student. I also used a bedroom backdrop. In this activity, you will be shown Polyglot's wake up time experience.
