We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new school choir! This exciting opportunity is being provided by The Church and is open to all our pupils in Key Stage 2 - it promises to be a fantastic addition to our extracurricular activities.
The choir will be led by Mr Leonard Sanderman, the Director of Music at St. Peter's and St. John's Churches. We are also delighted to have the support of Katherine Brackley, Children and Families Worker, who will be assisting with the choir.
The choir will be held every Thursday from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm in the church.
Joining the choir is a brilliant way for pupils to enhance their musical abilities, build confidence, and be part of a supportive and fun group. We encourage all interested pupils to participate, regardless of their previous singing experience. It's a fantastic opportunity to make new friends, showcase their talents at school events, and be part of something truly special.
It was wonderful to see so many parents in attendance at our Meet the Teacher event. The feedback from parents has been positive, highlighting the value of the information shared and the opportunities for engagement. For those who were unable to attend, we will be sending out the presentation slides to ensure everyone has access to the key information discussed.
Following the the same theme, next week see out first parents’ meetings of the year. This is an opportunity to discuss how your child has settled into their new year group, discuss targets for the year and how you can support at home. As previously, bookings are via parent cloud and are now available to book. If you have any issues booking, please contact the school office.
