Happy New Year!

Despite it only being a three day week for pupils, we're off to a flying start. We have already had our first educational visit - a Sikh Temple for Class 2, Swimmers were in the water in Y5 & 6, and I even had the pleasure of teaching class 3 today...(still the best part of the job!). Our new starters in nursery have also settled in well and our existing nursery pupils are enjoying showing them the ropes!

During our INSET day, we continued to plan our curriculum and have some great opportunities coming up, including some exciting Geography fieldwork in and around our local area.

As you are probably aware, Strep A and other illnesses are still with us. Please continue to follow the advice we sent out before Christmas. We will, of course, update you if we get any further guidance.

PARENT HUB

We had added a channel to the Parent Hub called Office. On this channel you will find links to the following forms:

Breakfast and After School Club - use this to book any sessions in addition to regular bookings already confirmed.

General Enquiry - use this to submit a general enquiry to the office

Uniform Order- use this to submit a uniform order

Leave of Absence - complete this for any absence from school including medical appointments and holiday requests.

To subscribe to the channel, please go to manage channels and select the office. You will be able to open the form via Parent Hub and return directly to the office.

PFA FUNDRAISING NIGHT

FRIDAY 3RD FEBRUARY

Join us for our first adults only PFA curry night at the Cinnamon Lounge, Horbury Bridge!

The evening will include a delicious curry buffet, starter, main and sides, veggie and meat option with bar available. Quiz with quiz master Hammond and a auction . Spread the word!

£17.99 per head. £10 deposit to reserve a spot as spaces are limited. Please send deposits (then full balance by 15 Jan) via PayPal to fundraising@horburybridgeacademy.co.uk.
