We may have started the term with snow and ice, but it’s certainly turned out to be a belter! The pupils returned with enthusiasm and resilience, settling straight back into their learning, and they haven't stopped since!
Our team points competition has been more exciting than ever, especially with the introduction of bonus points each week. Pupils have really embraced the challenge, and we’re all looking forward to seeing which team will take home the prize at the end of term!
It has also been wonderful to see such a positive response to our new approach to times tables. The heat maps are certainly hotting up, and we are already seeing the impact, with pupils showing greater confidence in their maths lessons. A huge well done to all the pupils for their hard work, and a big thank you to parents for your continued support!
This week, we were delighted to welcome our governing body into school for the day. They had the opportunity to see the school in action and were particularly impressed by the pupils’ excellent behaviour and engagement in learning. They also highlighted the clear routines and high expectations that support a positive learning environment for all. Thanks to the staff and pupils at HBA for making such a great impression.
Finally, a quick reminder that Parents’ Meetings will be available to book from the first day back after half-term. These will take place on Tuesday 12th March & Wednesday 13th March. Please keep an eye out for the booking information.
Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable half-term break!
Stay safe and take care.
