Wow – what an incredible Christmas Fair! A massive thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a special event. The hall and church were buzzing with festive cheer, and it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying the fun.
Santa’s visit was, of course, a highlight – he loved meeting all the children (and hearing what’s on their Christmas lists!). He did mention, as he was hopping back aboard his sleigh, that he thought the children were so amazing he might even be back for another visit before the end of term!
Now, let’s talk about Tattle McTale, our mischievous elf! Despite everyone’s best efforts, we managed to keep him locked up in his cage at the fair (which, to be honest, is where he belongs after all his mischievousness this week!). However, we did promise the pupils he would be released. So, he'll be on the playground before school next week, and each day we’ll reveal a digit of the 4-digit code needed to set him free. Can you help crack the code? If you think you can, it's just £1 for 3 guesses! Tattle will be free by Wednesday – so keep your eyes peeled for clues! To get you started, the first digit is 1.
The raffle was drawn at the end of the Fair, and we’ll be sending out the full list of winners on Monday, so keep an eye out to see if you’ve won a prize.
A huge shoutout to the Horbury Bridge Academy Community Friends for their incredible effort in organising the event and our amazing staff team for all their support!
Finally, thank you all for coming and making the fair such a memorable evening. Your support means the world to us and helps make our school the wonderful community it is.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mr Tuddenham
