Spring Super Saturdays are open to both gifted and exceptional students. All applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
identification for the school’s Primary Talent Pool or Gifted and Talented services
score at the 90th%ile or higher on a Standardized Achievement Test Total Battery
Students may qualify with a recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or principal stating that the student demonstrates high potential, is motivated to learn, can focus energy working toward task completion, AND is able to work cooperatively in a group setting with challenging content.
There is a $10 Super Saturdays Registration Fee. All other expenses are being sponsored by Hopkins County Schools for this school year. Additional donations to support scholarships for children who may not otherwise be able to participate will be accepted. Please review the registration options below. We accept cash or checks payable to: Hopkins County Schools (please include "GT Super Saturdays" on the memo line.
Super Saturdays are held at the Hopkins County Schools Career and Technology Center. We ask that you walk your students in on the first day, however, we provide an organized pick-up procedure where students are helped into vehicles with numbers or proper identification at the conclusion of the event.
To register, please carefully follow the registration tab at the top of the website to begin the process. We have combined forms, so no others will be required at drop-off, however, please make sure all fields are completed to comply with Hopkins County Schools policies and procedures.
