Fun With Painting Open to Grades 2nd & 3rd
Students will learn how to work with water-based paints through this fun class, learning skills and techniques in acrylics, temperas, watercolors and mixed media materials.

Racing Into Robotics Open to Grades 2nd & 3rd
Do you like to like to work with robots, enjoy math and technology? In this course the indi learning robots will introduce you to the fundamentals of computer science principles with play-based learning. You will be learning robotics through real-life scenarios, building custom mazes and problem solving.

Art and Soul Open to Grades 4th & 5th
Are you eager to discover and learn about art created by the great masters? You will be creating hands-on art in the styles of the greatest artists in history. Each art process will focus on a style of one artist. Learn about the impressionistic style of art through Vincent Van Gogh, Georgia O'Keeffe, Gustav Klimt, and Claude Monet and discover your individual creativity.

BOLT Open to Grades 4th & 5th
Are you interested in coding or robotics? Join us to BOLT into the world of coding! You will learn the coding language and explore the different avenues of coding your robot to move, light up, navigate a course, and much more.

Abstract Art Open to Grades 6-8
Join Tonia Leal, MNHHS Art Instructor, University of Louisville Art School Graduate, and well-known local artist, for a lesson in watercolor painting using markers rather than paint. Join her as she leads discussions of what is needed to create in abstract fashions. Mrs. Leal will also lead you in crayon etching pieces with Indian ink overlays. Topics will include the proper selection and preparation of your surfaces, color palettes as well as a thorough discussion of paint and pigment.
