1. Forza 5
Forza Horizon 5 is a racing game. It’s a potent formula perfected, and one of the best games of the year. Forza Horizon 5 is the natural evolution of the series so far expanded, tweaked, and turned up to eleven. The result is a game that's been incrementally upgraded in the direction of perfection
2. Grand Theft Auto 5
This game is great from a design, storytelling, and technical perspective. Released in 2013, the game has stood the test of time and remains immensely popular to this day, thanks in part to its GTA Online mode which really got gamer’s eye because it allows you to play with friends and others all over the world.
3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Its well designed missions make for excellent weapon testing grounds and feature a slew of interesting mechanics that wouldn't work anywhere else. Some of its best parts come about because of the secretive nature of this war, and that includes some heavy moments that are generally done well.
4. Watch Dogs 2
This is a pretty good game. The open world is absolutely beautiful. Controls are solid driving I will admit feels a bit "arcadey." The side missions are all unique, build up to a climax, and even tie into the main story sometimes.
5. Red Dead Redemption 2
The story is really captivating, plus there is an incredible amount to do. I like to ride horses, look around for loot and become a bounty hunter, but there are other ways to play it so there's something for everyone. Some people spend hours just looking around the scenery, hunting different animals or playing cards.
