Perseverance Project

Project Description

Students interviewed a friend or family member who had to over come adversity by persevering through tough times. They strove to find out what their loved one overcame, how they overcame the challenge, and how long it took them to overcome their challenge. Julian explains his mom's perseverance after the loss of her parents.

Xavier interviewed his brother about his ability to overcome the challenge of staying strong mentally.

Sierra's mom experienced the challenge of an eye injury and persevered to regain her sight.

Kayden spoke on his father contracting COVID 19 and how he fought to get back on his feet.

Luke spoke on how his father bounced back from shoulder surgery.

Nijil talk about how her mother persevered and worked hard on buying a French bull dog.

Zhamari spoke about how his grandmother battled smoking and how she worked hard to stop smoking.

Ty'Shawn spoke on how his mother struggled as a single parent, working and going to college and never giving up dong the rough times.

Makayla spoke about her friend getting into a motor cycle accident, getting paralyzed and fighting to get back on his feet.

Savanna spoke on her father about not giving up on his family and working hard to find a job.

Savannah spoke on a neighbor who lost her husband. She shared that her neighbor fought through by walking and spending time with her family.

Amber pointed out how her mother fought through the passing of her husband and her father.

Zofia interviewed her dad about how he fought to take care of her as a baby and work as a single parent.

Reynard talked about his mother on how she struggled waking her kids up in the morning for school and had to also get to work on time.

Ariana spoke with her mother and she spoke on building up her credit to purchase better things in life.
