Calvin:
In cities around the world the communities have people who are living on the streets, kids who go to school wearing the same clothes every day, parents who don’t have enough money to put food on the table for their kids, and people who don’t have enough money to buy themselves something to eat.
One way I improved my community through food was kindness. My partner and I bought cans of food, chips, and any other unopened food for students who might be having a hard time living unbalanced lives.
I improved my community with $10 through food donations because of leadership. A leader is not someone who controls others; a leader is someone who looks for ways of helping others in need.
When you support something or someone you may encourage others to do the same. It’s always good to support, when you do things like this sometimes you will get a blessing in disguise and even if you don’t, it doesn’t hurt you to do right by others.
It’s always excellent to help people where you came from. Communities are important in cities, so if they need to be improved volunteering and donating can have a great impact. When you give back it shouldn’t be done because of a grudge or for clout; it should be done because of kindness and a pure heart.

With my 10 dollars, I decided to collaborate with a partner and help with food insecurity by donating to my local school food pantry. The first thing we did was put our money together and see how many items we could collect
We found out about the Hopewell High School food pantry from a teacher and my coach. Our goal was to fill up a box with goods. I also gathered items from my family members who had an idea of what my partner and I were doing. Once we met our goal we then took our box of food goods to the school office for others to add as they please.
Donating to our food pantry can improve our school because it ensures that those in need have access to essential food items. By providing support, you contribute to the well-being of individuals and families, helping them overcome challenges and improve their overall quality of life. People's generosity can make a positive impact on their journey towards a better future.
I encourage others to support our pantry because it helps ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food. By supporting this cause, you can make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families who are facing food insecurity. Your support can help alleviate hunger, improve health outcomes, and create a stronger, more compassionate community.
Thank you.

Helping out less fortunate people is great, even if it's a small deed. So what I did was I Bought $10 worth of canned goods to the Hopewell food pantry to donate, and to help end starvation in our community and around the world.
I chose to help my community with $10 by buying canned goods and donating them to the Hopewell Food Pantry, a local organization dedicated to providing food items that people in the community donate to so that the people and families in need can have to eat. The Hopewell Food Pantry plays a crucial role in ensuring that families have access to nutritious meals, especially during challenging times.
Beyond helping the less fortunate in my area, I recognized that my $10 donation could be a small yet significant step in contributing to the global effort to end world hunger and hunger in my community. While the issue of world hunger is complex, every donation brings us closer to a world where no one has to go to bed hungry.
With this in mind, people should consider giving their money, time, and effort to support this cause because it’s not just about helping those in need locally but also contributing to a global situation. As a community, we should help prioritize initiatives like food banks, volunteer work, and donations to combat hunger. By working together we can build a stronger society that aims to eliminate the problem of hunger one small step at a time.
Thank you!

I picked the food pantry to support because not everyone has money for food and can't afford to feed the family. It's always good to support the food pantry and donate food that you are not going to eat and by donating new items everyone should have a good plate to eat on this special holiday event if you don't celebrate it. In addition to purchasing $10 worth of 7 canned goods, I also collected donations from others.
In total, I was able to donate 17 cans of food to the pantry. Also To live your life normally day to day life you need food and water but nothing in the world is free. That's why everyone should donate food so everyone can eat.
Thank you.

I used my ten dollars for a good cause by supporting Hopewell’s Food Pantry to make Hopewell a better community. The best way to improve Hopewell with $10 is to invest the money to increase spending potential, and then support the food pantry by buying the food they need.
I spent most of my $10 on Pop-Tarts, which I sold for $1 each, to make a profit. I also bought a pack of chips from Dollar General to sell. I donated a dollar to help a classmate. After selling chips to family and friends, and accepting donations, my spending total was up to $18.35.
I decided to help the Hopewell Food Pantry because I felt that helping people in need of food would encourage others to do the same. I went with my teacher to the pantry during lunch time, because they are only open from 1 to 3 pm, and talked to the staff there. They reserve non-perishable food for the homeless, which gets depleted the fastest. They give out an average of 50-55 homeless bags per week. Also, they serve about 4,500 families per year. I knew they were a cause worth supporting.
The best way to support the food pantry is to donate money or food they need. I bought three packs of little pizzas and two packs of Vienna sausages. I bought all the items from Dollar Tree so they cost a dollar each. I spent a total of $4.10. I am giving the remaining $14.25 to the pantry as a cash donation. They will use the items I bought to provide for people in need. Jeannine Commander, who helps run the pantry told me they value food and cash donations equally, so I wanted to give both.
I wanted to help the Hopewell food pantry because I thought about homeless people around Hopewell and what they needed. Ms. Commander told me Hopewell is one of the most generous cities she has ever experienced. I’m happy to help, and if you contribute, you will be too.
Thank you.
