I put my $10 toward helping a family in need have a brighter holiday season and beyond. Buy a Tree Change a Life is a program to help families during the holidays to give their kids a better Christmas. By buying a Christmas tree you can help another family have a Christmas, which helps families even past the holidays.

Buy a Tree Change a Life has done a lot for kids. They have programs in 17 states and their Virginia location happens to serve our area. Beyond Christmas trees, they have bought backpacks with school supplies in them for kids in need and even got important software for a school system that couldn’t afford it.

The money that is donated helps beyond just Christmas. It helps with families' child care, puts food on the table, and targets families from Hopewell and surrounding communities that aren't doing so well.
