I'm the Maker and STEAM Teacher here and we MAKE all sorts of stuff: robots, 3d objects, woodworking, and MORE.
Once you've started my classes, it will be required that both students and parents both sign up for my Google Classroom to keep you apprised of what is due each week or being done in class. If you miss a week, you need to make it up and if for some reason we have to do a week of online school I need you to do my work.
Sometimes I have homework, but it's always fun. However, I do INSIST that you never giveup. I give you credit for trying in my classes.

Dominoes (the kind that can stand up)
Marble Runs (or anything you can use for a Rube Goldberg project)
Woodburning tool (mine was stolen)
I also will always accept plastic soda bottle caps, toilet paper or bigger tubes, or new wood as well as ANY working tools that are in good shape.
OR ANY thing that you want to get rid of that I might want to use for Tinkering, Technology, Woodshop, Art or Making.
If I don't want it, I'll give it away, so if you think I might, just give it to me. We even dissected an old mechanical dog that didn't work anymore, so if you have questions, ask, otherwise just drop at the school or make a box for me when we reopen. Or if you are desperate to get rid of it, email me and we can work something out!

In case you wanted to get ahead on school supply shopping I have things I want you to get for my classes. I realize that you might not know your schedule yet, but if you requested a certain class, there is a good chance you'll be taking it. Also, there is a good chance you'll be in at least one of my classes so you might want to get my general supplies to start. Please check back before school, as I haven't gotten my schedules either so these lists might change a little.

These are in ADDITION to all supplies asked for by the school, these are just for my classes. Please bring to me on the first day of school.
Everyone needs to bring a notebook and pen to EVERY CLASS. I will not be keeping these at school but you MUST bring them to class.
If you get a homework notebook from the school that is also required. Do not forget to bring EVERY WEEK (Elementary kids from last year may use their notebooks from last year, if I still have them!).

Everyone needs their own USB Drive. This class will mostly be taken care of at the school but if we have any homework, you miss a class, or we spend any amount of time temporarily online you'll need access to a computer.

Everyone needs to bring 2 bags of hot glue sticks from the dollar store, 2 T-shirts that are your size, 1 bag of popsicle sticks from dollar store.
