Research Grants/Award
1) 2025 NASA- Michigan Space Grant Consortium (MSGC) research seed grant Award. The research will explore the degradation mechanism of metal halide perovskites under humid atmospheric conditions. https://www.mispacegrant.org/connect/msgc-award-recipients/2025-award-recipients/
2) 2025 Jacob E. Nyenhuis faculty development grant Award, which supports faculty research at Hope College. We will work on “Understanding the morphological and optical change on Halide Perovskites thin film via different anti-solvents."
3) 2024-2025 Materials Research Facilities Network (MRFN) Faculty Fellowship. The research will explore "The effect of annealing and A-site cation engineering on the properties of Perovskite Light Emitting Diodes (PeLEDs)".
4) My research student, Joe Bachman, received the 2025 Anderson Summer Research Award, which supports undergraduate students doing research at Hope College. Congratulations to Joe Bachman on this amazing award.
