When is the talent show?

May 24 is when the GES Virtual Talent Show 2021 will be available to view


Will I need parent permission?

All students must have parent permission in order to participate. Your parents will be asked to give permission on the registration form


What kind of talents are on display?

Talents may include dancing, playing a musical instrument, singing (no singing along with recorded words or lip-syncing allowed), doing gymnastics, performing a comedy routine or a drama, or displaying an athletic skill. In-person students: Students who are singing or playing an instrument that requires removal of their mask to participate, they will record outside in spaceous school spaces with proper distance and following safety protocols as outlined with HCS and COVID policy and precautions.


How long do I have to show off my talent?

Students must have a planned routine that lasts a maximum two minutes.


Who will be able to view the GES Virtual Talent Show 2021?

A link to the video will be shared with all parents and students at Gwin Elementary School. We will post a link to the show on the Gwin Elementary School social media platforms as well.


What are the music guidelines for what music my child is allowed to use?

Do I have to audition?

Yes. Students can choose to audition in-person during school hours or can choose to record themselves at home and submit their video for audition.
