What does the dance team do?
What does the dance team do?
The SMS Dance Team's purpose is to promote school spirit and to provide entertainment at athletic events. Dance team members must be respectful, resourceful, and responsible as they are representatives of SMS and the city of Hoover. The team performs at football games, basketball games, as well as other community events such as our annual holiday dance program at Hoover High School.
Do I need to have dance experience?
Do I need to have dance experience?
Not necessarily! However, dance experience is preferred. The team can only be as good as its members so practice at home!

The team practices are twice a week after school.
