About our class...
Our classes consist of 7th & 8th grade students. 7th grade classes last 9 weeks & focus on basic composition, the Elements of Art/Principles of Design & basic photographic editing practices utilizing a variety of software. 8th grade classes last 18 weeks (1 Semester) & focus on the aforementioned topics, as well as learning Adobe Photoshop. Additionally, we have an Advanced Digital Photography program for 8th grade students that lasts the entire school year (2 Semesters) and combines all the previous mentioned topics, plus integrates methods for creating additional types and styles of art through the medium of photography.
