enterprise (noun, adjective) Avoid using “enterprises,” “enterprise organizations,” or “enterprise companies,” as these terms don’t accurately reflect some of our primary verticals (health care, higher education, and government). In most cases, use organization, large organization, or similar. The adjective enterprise-strength is acceptable, as is (of course) the product name Hootsuite Enterprise.

future-proof, future-proofing (noun, verb) Always hyphenated. This can come off disingenuous (can someone really future-proof their strategy?), so use carefully and intentionally.

generations Capitalization rules for these are inconsistent, but there you have it. Capitalize the Greatest Generation, Generation X or Gen X, and Generation Z or Gen Z (these were all coined or influenced by the titles of works, FWIW), but use sentence case for baby boomers and millennials.
