Classroom Resources:

1) After School Help: The after school calendar is posted on the class website. Use this resource to determine when after school help is available. Students need to arrive to my classroom by 2:20.

2) Class Website: This allows for both you and your student to check the weekly homework, tests, and download extra copies of worksheets. The website will be updated every Friday for the following week.

3) Books: Your student has been given a textbook to keep at home. I have extra copies of the textbook in each resource room and they may sign one out from my room if your child has a study hall.

4) Homework: Homework is ALWAYS assigned on Mondays and due on Thursdays. Students are afforded the opportunity to turn in late assignments up to one week after the due date. However, students are REQUIRED to stay after school to complete the assignment. Also, every Friday students are to complete the current events assignment.

5) Grades: If you would information about your child’s grades, please log into the parent portal with E-School. If you need assistance logging in, please let me know. Additionally, this year the school is now offering the student portal!

6) REMIND: This is a one-way text service for my class. I have encouraged all of the students to sign up, but parents can too! I will send “reminder” text messages about upcoming assignments or other important information. If you would like to sign up for this service, you can find the instructions on the class website. If you experience any problems, let me know and I can help!

7) E-Mail: I email all the parents who have supplied me with their email address to keep them informed of what we are currently studying, the upcoming homework/tests/quizzes, or other important classroom information. If you are not receiving these weekly emails and would like to, please see me.
